These Christmas Carol lyrics pages have been on the Internet since early March 1993. They originally resided as plain text files on ftp.nevada.edu, which at that time was a Gateway 2000 386-16 running MCC 1.0+ Linux in my office. It had a 40 MEGAbyte hard drive, one MEGAbyte of RAM, both a 3.5" and a 5.25" floppy drives, and no optical drive. They were available via gopher as well for a few years. I converted them to html in 1994, which was the only format available from 1997 to 2009 when PDF excerpts became available.
